FUN FACTS

Here are some fun facts about myself and the channel!

Originally, my channel name was going to be "The Handy Door Buster" and I would have produced Minecraft content, much like my childhood Youtubers like PopularMMOs, GamingWithJen, or DanTDM. Needless to say, that never happened.

Tons of never seen before videos on my Nintendo 3DS still exist when I tried pretending to be a content creator on YouTube before I actually became one. I'm still trying to find a way to see if I can upload them to YouTube now.

Despite the fact that I started making YouTube videos in 2013 with "Matthew's Angry Birds" and then again in 2015 with the main channel, somewhere in between was another channel that I made with my sister, and only 2 videos were ever recorded and uploaded to the channel. One, an introductory video with me as the cameraman and my sister as the star of it, and the other was a promo for a scrapped "Super Smash Bros." series I would have done on that channel, which I guess in a way, would make it the oldest known YouTube sub-show of mine. Sadly, that channel was deleted years ago, and we both still don't know why that happened.

When I was first starting out on my main channel that you know today, my first ever video showcased on the channel is "Welcome To My Channel!" from April 2016. However, this wasn't the first video I ever uploaded to the channel. My first ACTUAL video was a Godzilla figure test, with the NECA NES Godzilla doing the Godzilla 2014 roar. This video was privated when it first uploaded, then it was deleted by me. But, I have reuploaded it 5 years later.

Many people have asked what type of video editors I use. This varies from video to video, and what time of year the video itself is from. Starting with The Angry Birds And Godzilla Show - Episode 1: "The Birth Of The Baby Red", I used VideoShow for a good majority of the videos I made going forward, and I also used PowerDirector for scrolling text. (Like in the credits.) It wasn't until late 2019 or early 2020 that I decided to switch over to InShot for faster processing, more convenient storage space, and easier and more organised editing. However, for more larger and bigger projects, I use Filmora, Splice, and CapCut on my computers, since none of my mobile video editors can work on computers for obvious reasons.

My channel's videos and projects have been showcased many times at my school before. Including:

  • The Angry Birds And Godzilla Show - Episode 280: "Red's Journey" and Episode 288: "Chuckness Homeless Madness"  were both presented in front of my classroom as assignments back in May and June 2018 respectfully.

  • GOLDEN GLORY! Shorts "The 3D World" and "Into The White Dimension" were both assignments for my animation class, with "The 3D World" getting showcased in-front of the class in February 2021.

  • The GOLDEN GLORY! Short "Origami Objects" and an unreleased short of The Angry Birds And Godzilla Show were both made and showcased to my class for my animation class in November 2021 and December 2021 respectfully.

  • GOLDEN GLORY! Shorts "An Underground Adventure" and an audio-remastered version of "The 3D World" were both featured and showcased in-front of my entire school in May 2022, as apart of my School Talent Show.

  • The GOLDEN GLORY! Short "The Size-Changing Watermelon" was completed for an ELA assignment about Commercials.

  • A hybrid short of The Angry Birds And Godzilla Show featuring footage from Episode 400: "The Big Birthday Bash" and Episode 466: "Monkey VS. Lizard: The Intelligence Game" along with all new footage was featured and showcased in-front of my entire school in May 2023, as apart of my School Talent Show.

  • A hand-drawn animated GOLDEN GLORY! Short titled "Squash And Stretch" was done and submitted in my animation class in December 2023.

Several concepts for shows/movies/games were considered, but not all of them made it past the idea phase. Here's a list of some of the scrapped projects and what they would have been like:

SHOWS:

  • Godzilla: Monster Of Monsters - A show based around the 1988 NES game of the same name, would have followed Godzilla, his dad Gojira, and his girlfriend Mothra going on adventures. (Scrapped after being turned into the basis for The Angry Birds And Godzilla Show.)

  • Super Mario - A potential spin-off to The Angry Birds And Godzilla Show that would have featured Mario as the central lead, with Luigi, Bowser, and Koopa Shell making appearances. (Scrapped for lack of motivation.)

  • Sonic The Hedgehog: The Miniseries - A show starring Sonic and his friends fighting Dr. Eggman in a 3 part miniseries. (Scrapped for lack of interest in the project, and the entirety of the Sonic Franchise as a whole.)

  • Five Nights At Freddy's - A series that would have featured the core four of FNAF, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy (And maybe Golden Freddy too.) going on adventures together. (Scrapped for lack of props and story ideas.)

  • Captain Underpants: The First Epic Show - A show starring George Beard and Harold Hutchins fighting crime alongside their comic book superhero, Captain Underpants. (Scrapped after losing interest in the Captain Underpants book series, and especially after the Netflix series came out.)

  • Objectified Objects: The Baseball And Marble Show - A series based on a now cancelled object show, Baseball and Marble host a talk show together where they interview contestants from the original show, while also fighting over who's the better host. (Scrapped due to the original series getting cancelled, and lost contact with the original series creator.)

  • Matthew’s Land Of Frog Reviews +Other DisneyTVA Review Shows - Would have mostly been about a fictional version of me going crazy over DisneyTVA shows and reviewing them. (Scrapped due to Matthew's House Of Owl Reviews' low performance on the channel, and being cancelled after 3 episodes.)
